Happy Black History Month to all! Between preparing for this album and my performance obligations, I have been extremely busy so I will give you one big newsletter with some updates:
In late November, I found out I was nominated for a Grammy on Steven Feifke & Bijon Watsons album ‘Generation Gap, Jazz Orchestra’. I decided that I would attend being that it fell on February 5th, a date that coincided with the tour I was doing in LA. Well, I attended the Grammys and found out we WON the nomination!

I’ve been on the road for the past month with JazzReach, doing some educational outreach throughout the state of California. We are ending our run this week in Santa Rosa and Modesto CA, then back to the East Coast! Wanted to send some dates I’ll be back on the East Coast:
