Happy Spring to all! I hope all has been well with you since the last newsletter.

April was a wonderful month for me, I was on the road doing some educational outreach in the Midwest. While I was there, I also had a great opportunity to work at my old high school, and do some clinics for the students. Here are some fun clips & pictures from that visit!

Happy Black History Month to all! Between preparing for this album and my performance obligations, I have been extremely busy so I will give you one big newsletter with some updates:

In late November, I found out I was nominated for a Grammy on Steven Feifke & Bijon Watsons album ‘Generation Gap, Jazz Orchestra’. I decided that I would attend being that it fell on February 5th, a date that coincided with the tour I was doing in LA. Well, I attended the Grammys and found out we WON the nomination!

I CONTRIBUTED ON A GRAMMY WINNING ALBUM YALL!!!!

Happy summer everybody! There was a heatwave in New York so I hope everybody is keeping cool wherever they are. I celebrated my birthday on July 7 and I have been very busy but I wanted to make sure I posted some upcoming gigs for the rest of this month and August. For my NYC peeps, The Whole Proof is playing August 22nd, and I plan to have a new composition done by then. You can catch me at Minton’s Playhouse every Sunday for ‘Singer Meets Saxophonist’.

As far as progress on my album, VERY excited to announce that August 14th - 16th I will start mixing and mastering my latest upcoming release for February 2020! I am very excited about getting this new music out and if you would like to help, please look for the Cash App/Venmo handle below and support.
